6ft vs. 8ft: Choosing the Right Header and Table Size for Your Booth

Card show promoters typically provide either 6ft or 8ft tables, and that single detail determines which header size will actually fit your setup. Ordering the wrong one is one of the most common mistakes first-time vendors make, and it's completely avoidable with a quick check beforehand.

Where to find your table size

Most shows list table dimensions in the vendor confirmation email or exhibitor packet. If it isn't listed, it's worth a quick message to the event organizer before ordering — assuming a size based on a previous show can lead to a header that overhangs or falls short.

What happens with the wrong size

A 6ft header on an 8ft table leaves awkward gaps on either side. An 8ft header on a 6ft table overhangs the edges, which looks unintentional and can even become a tripping or bumping hazard in a crowded aisle.

Our sizing options

The Table Top Header is available in both 6ft and 8ft widths, matched exactly to standard convention table sizes. The Premium Vending Pack and Luxury Vending Bundle offer the same size choice, so the whole bundle scales correctly to whichever table you're working with.

Vending at multiple shows with different table sizes

If you regularly work shows with both 6ft and 8ft tables, it's worth having a header in each size rather than trying to make one work everywhere. The cost difference is minor compared to how much a properly fitted header improves the finished look of your booth.
