Custom Tablecloths 101: Sizes, Materials, and Getting the Fit Right

Of everything on a vendor's table, the tablecloth covers the most visible square footage. It's also the piece most likely to look wrong if the size doesn't match your table — bunching at the corners, dragging on the floor, or leaving bare table showing through the front.

Matching size to your table

Our Custom Table Cloth comes in Standard, Oversized, and 6ft options. Standard and 6ft fit most convention-provided folding tables, while Oversized is built for vendors who want extra drape on all sides or are working with a slightly larger table than the show provides. Always check the show's table dimensions before ordering — most card show promoters list table size in the vendor packet.

Why a fitted tablecloth changes how a booth reads

A tight, well-fitted cloth signals a professional operation the same way a pressed shirt signals someone who takes their appearance seriously. A loose or mismatched cloth does the opposite, even if everything else about the booth is dialed in.

Design considerations

  • Keep your logo or shop name on the front-facing panel, since that's the only part customers see while you're seated behind the table
  • Avoid placing critical text near the bottom edge, where it can fold under or get blocked by boxes stored beneath the table
  • High-contrast color choices hold up better under fluorescent convention lighting than subtle gradients

Completing the set

A tablecloth looks most polished paired with a matching Table Top Header above it. If you'd rather not coordinate the pieces separately, the Complete Booth Setup bundles both together, matched to your shop's branding from the start.
